Hello Irina,
How are you? I wondering if you could help me with
this and perhaps provide me some advice or
recommendations.
I meet a women online and she lives in Nigeria, she
lives with her mum and works for a fashion desinger.
We been commicating for about 7 months. Everything
seems so genuine and real but it is still hard to tell
at this point. I have mentioned that I could fly over
there to meet her and she agreed and provided me her
home address and her work address. On the other hand
she wants to come to the US and she agreed to pay for
her travel documents and I will buy the airline
tickets.
During this period, the only time she asks for money
is maybe once a month or so to buy food because they
have ran out and the amount ranges from $200-300.
The plan is for 3-4 month visit on a tourist visa,
then return home and plan for a stay visa, so she can
work her profession in the US. We have never talked
about marriage. But she does say she loves and cares
for me and always seems concerned.
What do you think? Could this be a scammer? Do you
have any sugesstions or recommendations? Or do you
need more information to determine a conclusion?
Thanks
Kevin

Hello Kevin,
Maybe I am prejudiced against nigerian women ,but I think that she is a scammer.
Women from nigeria have the same problem to come to USA as Russian women ,
they can't just go there by a tourist visa and so it is a fake.
It is favorite profession taken by nigerian scammers. They are often very
convincing. They can even talk with their victims by the cam each day.
But they are still scammers.
Have you checked her email in the internet ? Have you checked the name she
has given to you in the Internet?
best regards,
Irina

Hello again Irina,
I hope you dont mind that I write you and ask for your
advice, I dont want to be a pest or something like
that?
Well anyway In your last reply you had asked if I had
checked her name on the internet?, can you tell me
where I would go to do that search? Im find
difficulty in finding even a street map of Nigerian
cities on the internet.
I did find one agency that would do a background
investigation, but they want to charge like $50hour
for 8 hours, for a fee of $400, the company was
wymoo.com Have you heard of them?
Let me ask you another qustion, here is a scenario
that I played and this is how it turned out.
I had created a new email address with a ficticous
name, then I invited my new identity to the womens
messenger, she accepted the invitation and we started
to talk, I told her I was a doctor in Texas and that
I made a lot of money, at first she started to
warm-up to me, but after about 10 minute into the
chat, all of a sudden her tone changed and she told
the person to leave her alone, she told him I have a
finacee and his name is kevin, now go away, dont ever
come back. Then the new id was deleted.
Im just curious, Would that scenario be condusive of a
scammer? Would a scammer not want to if the
opportunity would arise to scam who ever they can and
perhaps scam many people at the same time? or Do
scammers try to focus on one person at a time?
Thanks again for you advice and quick replies!

Hello Kevin,
It is ok.
You just go to google.com and type there her name,
surname and at the end the word scammer.
It seems that first she was ready for the contact, and she began
it but then she understood maybe from your speach, from your language
that you are you and it made her change her further play. They are
often checked in this way and of course have their own tactics to understand
this .
best regards,
Irina
