Hi Brett,
I could not find the things that would proove for 100 percent that she is a scammer, but I am sure that she is. The place where you met her is very .... hmm not characteristic to find a girl like you see in her letter. It obviously not coincides. Another thing is that the letter seems rather first between you but she already asks you to be her boyfriend and so on. I am sure that she is a scammer.

I had no previous idea Russian women are looking for men over here. I was on fling for entertainment only, and am basically too (chicken) for sex with strangers( I like the fantasy:). But once she contacted me, since she was the only response, I just wrote back. At the very least, it is theater of the mind . I mean , even if I visit a woman there once, to (make a decision), she can still have no intention of ever leaving her life there. It is seductive to imagine there are such lovely women as I have recently seen, but how do the real women do once they arrive in North America? It must be difficult . I wonder about success rates for these couples? Do you have statistics, Irena?

I do not have such statistics. I have some communication with couples who were made on my site. Usually (there are exception but they are rare) the woman moves there, goes to some courses that help her to adapt to the life there( driving courses, courses of English, or courses that help her work there), Women have some problems for a half a year to adapt. They get used to working here, to pay their expenses, but they have to depend solely on their husband for some time until they find work there (and if they go with fiancee visa until they receive work permit) .But usually in half a year the life goes to normal, both are happy and everything is all right. The man just have to look before marriage that the woman is ready to work to make the relationship work. If she is ready then everything else is all right. If he is after 46 but wants a young girl of 18-22 then htey are not ready to work, they think that the man will provide for them and then the man should be ready to deal with this.

I am a musician by trade, and many women my age get jealous when I am working, so I suspect 32 and up ? Is this normal to Russian woman?

It is perfect! Just perfect for most women here. The average difference in russian culture is from 0 to 10 years. 12 years is great also. But I think that you want a woman without children? Then the choice will be more limited. For us it is more normal to have a child before a woman is 27. So most women have a child when they are 30.
