As I already said, the climate is influenced by the sea here so we don’t have strong frosts but much wetness here.

I want to tell you that today is a very nice day here in Odessa. It's even hard to believe that it’s winter… The weather

I now watch programs and read newspaper articles about your country, and if I have time I read books. I got very
interested in foreign culture.
For instance, the other day I reread one of the short stories by O.Henry. He is one of my favorite authors. I think that
he is very interesting and charming person. I've got a book of his stories and my most favorite one is 'The Gifts of the
Prophets.' Maybe you've read it. If you haven't, I think you should definitely do this. It's about a married couple who
sold their most precious things to buy each other presents on Christmas. She sold her beautiful long hair, she was proud
herself most, and he sold his golden watch that considered being the relic of his family. This story is very small, but
it's very interesting and touching. I often reread it and every time I do this it gives me great pleasure.
Please write to me how you spend these winter days. What new and good things have they brought into your life? They say
that all the families that get together at Christmas dinner are equally happy and there are no unhappy ones at all. I so
much want us to be together next Christmas and share the joy of this holiday. Maybe I'm a hopeless daydreamer, but I
cannot give up on this sweet dream…

gave it away.
I’ve contacted some English tutors. I particularly liked one of them. She works at university and is well qualified. She
charges $9 per 1,5 hours. I think it’s a bargain because others charge $10 to $12 per hour. What do you think?
