| Scamming scenario : Sent several amounts of money in a 2 week period for her to come to be with me in the US. Total amount sent throiugh Western Union was $8,000.00 She or He sent a phony Itinerary and when I called the Airline to verify they said no such reservation existed for this person. I had hours and hours of time spent talking to her on the phone and emails and IM's. A couple days before the phony flight was when I realized I had been scammed I never heard from or could contact her. I reported to IC3 and Yahoo who closed her account but IC3 had me give info to my local police but they did not have any luck locating her which is odd seeing how many times she had gone into the Western Union in Accra.
A lot of the conversations were on Yahoo Messenger and on the phone. I will attach some of the regular emails.
I have many more but these were the last ones after I had sent a Total of over $8,000.00 through Western Union. I made around 7 different transfers and were all picked up in Accra, Ghana. |
